The Southbank Centre in London is staging an event from late-July until mid-August to create a giant map of the world using more than 1 million LEGO bricks.
The “Our World in LEGO: map will grow each day and then be put on display for a fortnight, for our viewing pleasure. During the building phase, that takes place between 12 noon until 4 pm, you’ll be able to play your part in laying one of almost 4,000 LEGO boards designed especially for the Southbank Centre’s Festival of the World.
The family event is suitable for anyone over 5-years-old, young children will need to be supervised; please note, the exact times of the workshops may change.
