Safety Concerns Prompt Smyths to Recall Safari Ball Pits

Recalled Safari Ball Pit 151650

Smyths, the toy retailer, has announced a recall of Safari Ball Pits due to unspecified safety concerns.

The affected ball pits were sold in its Irish and British stores under the stock code : 151650.

Safari Ball Pits were imported by UK company Character Options Ltd of Lees Brook Mill, Lees Road, Oldham, OL4 5JL. The product was brought to market by Global Industry BV of the Netherlands.

The recalled ball pits have a distinctive colourful design with cartoons animals, such as, a lion, giraffe and zebra printed on two sides. When assembled, the ball pit dimensions are : 80 cm in length, 80 cm width and 30 cm height. A total of thirty colour play balls were also included. It was sold in UK store for £24.99.

If you have this item, return it to a Smyths Toys Superstore for the product to be inspected and a refund issued.
