Without doubt, Red Rum is the most famous race horse in British history. Britain’s most famous horse won the Britain’s most famous race, the Grand National, in 1973, 1974 and 1977. Red Rum was also runner-up of the Grand National twice. The legendary Red Rum died at the age of 30 in 1995 and is buried near the winning post at Aintree.Continue Reading
