Baby Born with Magic Potty

Baby Born has been cherished by generations of little girls for more than twenty years. It’s difficult to imagine what Zapf could do to go wrong with this popular range of dolls and accessories.

It’s also difficult to imagine what Zapf could do to improve Baby Born, however, they certainly keep trying to; this time the addition of a special potty aims to improve the appeal of the lifelike doll.

The Magic Potty

When you sit Baby Born on the potty you’ll see flashing lights and hear flushing noises. The sound of flushing leaves me truly quite confused, as I’ve never known of a plumbed-in potty, however, it is supposed to be a magic potty.

The doll keeps all its features from previous incarnations. Baby Born will drink from a bottle, eat special food, soil its nappy, cry real tears, blink, has posable limbs and can be bathed.

Accessories provided include: a dummy, a bottle, feeding dish, feeding spoon, nappies, clothes and a hat.

Baby Born remains 17 inches tall (43 cm) and is available in pale and dark-skinned versions with pink potty and accessories. There is also an anatomically correct boy version who gets decked out in blue.
