The courtroom saga, involving Mattel Inc. and MGA Entertainment, continues with yet another twist in the Barbie ponytail, as an appeal is made against the $310 million pay-out the courts awarded to MGA from Mattel.

The maker of Barbie dolls and many more toys, Mattel, has abandoned its claim that a rival toy maker, MGA, had infringed on its copyright by developing Bratz dolls but have appealed against a $172 million award in damages for misappropriation of trade secrets and a $137 million award for MGA’s attorney fees and defence costs.Continue Reading
