Nintendo DSi is set to launch in UK 3rd April. Interest in this latest Nintendo product is expected to be enormous and many retailers are accepting pre-orders.
As technical progress seems to dictate, the DSi will be thinner, lighter and boast a larger screen. However, what makes this device special is the inclusion of two camera lenses, music playing, Internet browsing and downloadable games.
To make transferring pictures and music between the DSi and a computer a task relatively free of torment, there is an SD slot which uses widely available digital camera memory cards. The SD slot has replaced the cartridge slot found on previous Nintendo DS consoles that allowed it to play older Game Boy Advance games. However, the slot for DS games remains allowing more recent games to be used on the device.
