Whilst double decker buses, dust-carts and tractors receive much staring, pointing and waving from toddlers, it’s the many items of machinery from building sites that seems to get special wide-eyed appreciation.

My 1st JCB is a range by Golden Bear, especially for the small hands of younger children; of one year and older. There are five to collect, which each have moving parts, a flashing light and a button to make the vehicle talk.

The vehicles are all given a little personality by having a name, a pair of eyes, their own set of five phrases and a unique horn sound.
