A vintage Barbie doll has been sold on eBay.com for $14,600. The rare and original 1959 #1 Blonde Ponytail Barbie doll attracted such a high bid due to her pristine condition; even the paint on the doll’s fingernails and toenails was completely intact.

The doll was in its original package complete with swimsuit, shoes, sunglasses, booklet and stand. Also, as part of the auction lot, Wedding Day Fashion #972 was included. The rare Barbie wedding dress was also in perfect condition.Continue Reading
