FAO Schwarz today has announced its plans to offer even more ways for shoppers in the U.S.A to buy from its eclectic mix of extraordinary playthings this Christmas. Toys R Us Aquires FAO Schwarz

FAO Schwarz has been acquired by Toys R Us for an undisclosed sum.

Both FAO Schwarz stores in New York City and at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will continue to stay open and, Toys R Us stated, that jobs will be offered to existing staff at both these stores. Toys R Us will run the FAO Schwarz e-commerce and catalog operations. All merchandising, management, distribution and marketing operations will immediately be taken over by Toys R Us.Continue Reading
