Dangerous Fake Disney Frozen Toys Seized in Devon

Dangerous counterfeit Disney Frozen toys and costumes have been seized by trading standards officers in Devon.

The fake products were confiscated in Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. Sets of knock-off Elsa and Anna dolls were discovered to contain high levels of phthalates, plastic softening chemicals, that if ingested could harm the reproductive system and increase the risk of asthma and cancer. The fake Elsa costumes, that were also seized, are highly flammable.

 

Tell-tale signs of fake and potentially dangerous Frozen products include: missing Disney logos, suspiciously low prices and obvious low product quality.
