Smiggle has recalled two products because the batteries can easily be removed by children, a potential safety risk.
Build A Light (line number 411557) and Colour O’Clock Cube Clock (line number 443346) are the products affected by this recall. The screw used to secure the battery compartment is missing, easy access to the batteries could cause choking and ingestion hazards if a child places a battery in their mouth.
The products were sold from 7 February to 18 February 2015 at a price of £15 in its shops and online via the company’s Australian website : smiggle.com.au. Products made available for sale after this date have been fully repaired.
