Department store chain John Lewis has issued a public recall on a number of styles of corduroy dungarees designed for children from 0 to 3 years of age.
The retailer has not specified a reason for the recall but in its notice the company stated: “The safety and wellbeing of our customers is our highest priority… [this is a] …precautionary measure…”
The products were sold in John Lewis stores and selected Waitrose supermarkets since 3rd July 2016.
The style numbers of the affected items, which can be found on the sewn-on label, are:
733329
316345
733306
733307
733308

No other styles are affected. The dunarees should returned to a John Lewis or Waitrose store for a full refund.
