Hamleys has recalled its own-brand Luvely Colour Changing Lamps due to a potential risk of harm to eyesight.
The incorrect type of LED lights has been fitted to these lamps causing the potential safety issue. Using the lamp for extended periods of time may harm eyesight.
The two styles of lamps that are affected by this recall were sold in Hamleys stores from September until November 2017. The products’ item numbers are 265181 and 265199, these are visible on the price tag or above the barcode on the box.
There have been no reports of anyone being harmed by the product. Hamleys stated in its recall notice: “… for precautionary purposes, we have removed this item from sale and are recalling any which have been sold. Our customers’ safety is of the utmost importance to us.”
If you have any of these products, stop using them immediately and return them to a Hamleys store for a full refund.
