Mothercare will start closing down sales across a number of stores this morning (Wednesday, 19th December 2018). Discounts are advertised as up to 30% off, however, some of the most in-demand items, such as, pushchairs, car seats and high chairs are only reduced by 10%.
The troubled nursery retailer announced the need to close a significant number of its stores earlier this year. Christmas is a bad time to be told that you will soon be out of a job but that hasn’t put Mothercare off handing out redundancy notices. Nothing does.
