COVID-19: The Entertainer to Temporarily Close All Stores Due to Coronavirus

The Entertainer will join other UK retailers in temporarily closing it stores in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

All of its UK shops will close at 5pm today (Monday 23rd March 2020) and will remained closed until further notice.

The company will continue to trade on online for home delivery.

A statement posted online said: “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our stores will temporarily close from 5pm on Monday 23rd March. We have taken this decision with a very heavy heart but the safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers is our priority.

“We’re wishing you all the very best, from our family to yours, and looking forward to welcoming you back to our stores soon.

“We are still here for you online where you can shop all of the latest toys and games at TheToyShop.com and elc.co.uk”

A number of stores have already closed to the public, including Hamleys, Disney Store and Selfridges.
